MUDDY MURPHY'S IRISH PUB
 |
Thomas
de Souza, General Manager
Being the third time back
with Muddy Murphy's, it just goes to show how much it means to me to
be a part of this wonderful organisation. No words can ever describe
how much it means to me to have the support of the senior
management, directors and most notably the company's single most
valuable asset - the employees. I view my role as a General Manager
to that of a Life Scientist, not only do I manage the experience of
my customers, but the opportunity to develop the skills and
character of my team so that they attain the knowledge, pride and
self esteem to do well in whatever they do as well as to be able to
learn from them. It's a pure joy to be part of such a dedicated team
of professionals

Having been with Gaelic Inns since 1996,
I was given opportunities time and again to grow with the company,
from a part-time staff to Deputy General Manager of Muddy Murphy's.
Subsequently I was offered the opportunity to run Scruffy Murphy's,
their new outlet in the East Coast. This allowed me the chance to
explore new opportunities and face new challenges everyday. It's a
job that's constantly rewarding and I look forward to many more
years with the company. |

Raymond
Leow, Assistant Manager
I must say that it has been an
enriching working experience through my 1 year plus with this
company. Through my stint in Muddy Murphy's and now in The Penny
Black, I've been able to enhance and widen my knowledge and
experience in this industry very much. Working in this company is
like working with your family members where everyone (from the
directors, senior management to the rank & file staff) tend to
look out for each other in aspects of work and also personal issues.
As long as one is able to prove his/her ability, there is sure to be
no lack of opportunities that will be presented to him/her in the
course of work in this company.
