| Gaelic
Inns Pte Ltd is a Singapore based company formed in 1994 with
the specific mission to create Asia-Pacific's Finest Traditional
Pub chain, developing outlets in the major cities of the region,
in high profile business and tourist addresses, primarily through
franchising. |
 |
The company opened its first outlet under the highly successful Guinness
Irish Pub Project, a project that has proven to be one of the most
successful beverage and entertainment concepts in the world today,
with more than 2,500 outlets now open world wide, stretching from
Atlanta , Berlin, Moscow, Abu Dhabi, Tokyo, and on to Singapore and
Australasia. In S. E. Asia the company worked closely with Guinness
to create the Muddy Murphy's flagship outlet in Singapore - a benchmark
for Irish pubs in the region. Having established Asia's highest grossing
Irish Pub on Orchard Road, as well as the more recent Victorian London
pub in Boat Quay in Singapore, Gaelic Inns is now looking to take
these and other new concepts into the region.
 |
With
Muddy Murphy's, the company has produced an outlet that represents
the key five ingredients of the Irish Pub success story for
profit and business sustainability: Irish design; a blend of
local and Irish staff; Irish beverage products; Irish food;
and a mix of modern and traditional Irish music. |
Gaelic
Inns has created a showcase design style for regional development
and franchising of the Muddy Murphy's brand embracing the signature
design items and theme of the Singapore outlet. This formula has been
an outstanding success for Muddy Murphy's in Singapore.
| The
company wholly owns the rights to the Muddy Murphy's and The
Penny Black trademarks internationally, together with specialist
proprietary operating systems, management handbooks, a very
popular cartoon, bespoke recipes and some very attractive merchandise.
The company intends to expand overseas largely through. |

Gaelic
Inns Pte Ltd opened Muddy Murphy's in the Orchard Hotel Shopping
Arcade in April 1996, and the outlet became an instant hit with
both expatriates and tourists due to its authentic design. The outlet
has now also become a regular watering-hole to many Singaporeans.
The success enjoyed by the company's outlets can be accredited to
the investment philosophy of Gaelic Inns. The directors have placed
the highest emphasis on developing traditional authenticity and
strong design concepts for their pubs, and this acutely obvious
from the fact that Muddy Murphy's was built to scale in Dublin,
Ireland and shipped lot, stock and barrel in 6 forty foot containers
to its current location in Singapore.
"We are not only in the business of operating great food &
beverage outlets," stresses Managing Director, Ian Crowhurst.
"Our aim with each pub is to create an environment in which
people will feel immediate familiarity and at home."
